The Toyland Monx

This variety of Monx lives in a permanent, childish fantasy world and loves to play with children's toys. In fact those many occasions when human children lie frightened in their beds at night, certain that there's a monster hiding under the bed, were nearly right. Except that it was actually just a Toyland Monx who'd crept into their bedrooms during the day to play with their toys and would never dream of hurting them or frightening them. But this is why toys sometimes seem to have moved of their own accord or vanish only to turn up in unexpected places in the house. Listen carefully at night for any unexplained bumping or muttering noises... almost sure to be a Toyland Monx. But you'll never catch it in the act.
